Sacramento pet photography

providing connection, beauty, and photographs with a purpose.

You might wish that your baby could stay in that wiggly puppy stage forever, or you may have an elderly pup who is slowing down and want to celebrate your many years together. Either way, if you’re here, you know what it means to love an animal with your whole heart.

Because being a pet guardian, parent, and friend means keeping a piece of them in your heart and your home - always.

Celebrate just them…

This is for new puppies, old puppies, and all the pets in between. I will guide your pet through a (often treat-filled) photography session tailored to their needs to bring out their perfect selves. Your friend doesn’t need to be leash-less or trick-trained to have their session here - we have all the tools we need to create the perfect art piece, no matter their situation.

and…

the love you share, together.

In addition to photographing your pet alone, you can also have portraits taken together. This is one of our core services at Sweet Camellia Photography - after all, it’s your relationship together that defines your life together. This style of portrait session captures all of the love between you and your fur baby, and can include images of them solo as well as alongside their favorite person (you).

Your Photography Experience

Your Story, Love, and Joy… in a Work of Art.

Enjoy the story and soul of them in your favorite places - whether on the wall above “their spot” or centered on the table of your most lively room - to be seen and, more importantly, felt, each and every day.

Whether you prefer a heartfelt gallery wall of all their best moments, a story album in “their” color, or another custom artwork that is 100% them, we’ll provide you with the keepsakes you’ll love - every time.

Timeless memories with your furbaby

Every animal, just like every person, is unique- and thank goodness for that! If that weren’t true, photographs of our loved ones wouldn’t mean quite so much to us. That being said, I tend to share these qualities with my pet parent clients:

  • You love sentimental treasures and keepsakes - whether it’s old photo albums or your puppy’s paw-prints, you tend to hold mementos of your life close to your heart.

  • You desire a mixture of artistic guidance and candid documentation to tell your pet’s story.

  • You appreciate heartfelt, personal details: an old favorite toy, the expression your pet makes when he or she is deep in thought….You value that special point where connection, aesthetics, and authenticity meet.
